The superior double room was quite spacious and very clean. I appreciated the dedicated side door for hotel guests it allows easy access without going through the pub. I found a large fan which was a nice touch since the room was warm. Also complimentary muffins oatmeal and water were provided in the room

Charming Stay Close to Transport!

I found the staff super friendly. The superior double room was spacious and clean. The dedicated side door made coming and going easy, even late at night. The complimentary muffins and oatmeal in the room were a thoughtful touch, I liked it so much.
The room was quite warm, I had to use the fan constantly.

The hotel has useful transport links with St Johns rail station nearby, it provides services to London Bridge and Cannon Street. There is also an Overground line to Canary Wharf accessible from the station. A bus stop is conveniently located right outside the hotel.

The hotel includes a pub downstairs that serves delicious cooked breakfast before it opens to the public. I enjoyed the great atmosphere in the pub during the daytime! You can leave your key in a mailbox when checking out, it is very convenient.

The room had complimentary shampoo, conditioner, AND soap (SO convenient!). The shower and bathroom were very clean, a HUGE plus. I found lots of tea and coffee available in my room with porridge and muffins. The bar man was helpful when I asked for directions around the area.
The breakfast was served from 10am. I left BEFORE this time.
