lovely stay near the canal

really good gammongood alesburglar alarm
i went for lunch near the canal with my wife and found the pub very pleasant. the gammon i ordered from the lunchtime menu was really good (i really enjoyed it). i appreciated the good range of ales offered at a well-priced menu.
i had dinner at the pub and unfortunately, the burglar alarm activated during the meal. nobody was able to turn it off immediately. this meant everyone had to go outside temporarily, and it was an inconvenience.
