surprisingly great stay!

amazing breakfastfriendly staffgreat location

Breakfast was amazing. I could choose egg benedict!! it was quite unexpected and the food was fantastic. the staff were really friendly and helpful plus the location is great for walking to the castle and church. the free parking was also a definite plus.

the location was acceptable, near the castle.

The room was small. I felt cramped. there was also a strange cable dangling from the television. Its purpose remained a mystery. the window was fogged up, it was difficult to see outside properly.

The breakfast was AMAZING!!! The chef was really friendly, and they accommodated my requests with a smile. They gave us excellent information about the local area, including hidden gems that we wouldn't have found otherwise. There was easy parking available to the rear of the hotel, super convenient.

The room was a bit hot, and when I opened the window, the pub's air conditioning unit was noisy. It kept switching on and off all night, which did disturb my sleep. The walls seemed thin, and I could hear some snoring from the neighboring rooms.

the meal offered excellent value (i especially enjoyed the presentation). staff members were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. i found the on-site parking very convenient, close to the castle.

the room could benefit from soundproofing, i could hear noise from adjacent rooms. this slightly impacted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere during the night.
