A Romantic Respite!

historical charmcute stafftranquil escape
I adored the historical charm of the building! the staff welcomed me with open arms, and their smiles felt genuine. the gardens offered a tranquil escape. The late-blooming flowers added a touch of magic to the air.
I noticed some tables and chairs were stored in plain sight outside the bedroom annex. It slightly detracted from the otherwise idyllic setting.

The twin room I got was quite small. It only had one bedside table. there was only one lamp (seriously?). Trying to get any computer work done was IMPOSSIBLE. The tv placement was bad too.

musty smellbed frame
my room had a distinct musty smell, something i found quite off-putting. i eventually located a small heater in the wardrobe (it seemed more like an afterthought). it did little to combat the pervasive cold. also, i counted at least ten mosquitoes upon arrival and the bed frame looked like it hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner in ages.
