The room was beautiful. I stayed in a superior double room and it met my expectations. The bed was very comfortable. The range of teabags and biscuits for the welcome was extensive. Getting my key was easy. There was a lockbox (very practical). They messaged me for my breakfast order in advance.
The floorboards made noise when people walked upstairs.

The decor was interesting, however it seemed somewhat dated. Our room, the 'Superior Double Room', felt a bit dark. The noise from the street at night was noticeable. I also found that the coffee machine didn't heat properly and the noise from other guests was very audible. It was hard to sleep well.

The breakfast was lovely. I particularly enjoyed the variety offered each morning. The staff in the café were friendly.
The room felt a bit cramped for two people. There was hardly room to move around freely. I also noticed some noise from people walking on the floorboards upstairs. This occurred quite early.

The room was fresh, airy, and bright. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast at Twist across the road was included. This was a lovely added touch. I really enjoyed the food there.
I stayed in the 'moulin rouge' room, it had dated decor. Red drapes in the room and bathroom were dusty. The sink unit was wobbly. It was not properly attached to the wall.
