the interiors looked gorgeous i was impressed. our room seemed lovely and clean all necessities were available. a package for our dog stood out. the location felt quiet.

i noticed inadequate lighting in the bedroom it made reading in bed challenging.

the room was spacious and well-equipped. the bathroom was great. i also liked that dogs were welcome, it was important for me. the pub nearby served very good food.

the breakfast chef really underperformed. he was late one day. another time, a vegetarian breakfast took 45 minutes and was not good. i also found the bedroom lighting insufficient, reading in bed was difficult.

the beautiful king room had high standards of finish. a roll top bath was a feature. complimentary port and crisps were provided (a perfect touch). dinner was amazing and the selection of port was great, a perfect way to end the day.
