Excellent Countryside Stopover
warm welcomespacious roomlovely showerbeautiful view
The inn offered a warm welcome. i stayed in green hill room, and it was bright and spacious. a lovely shower was included. plenty of wardrobe space. Complimentary water was also available. after settling in, i enjoyed sitting outside, taking in the beautiful views from the seating area.
the prices have risen, yet portions appear reduced.

the location worked fine for my travels.
I was frustrated with the room's proximity to the kitchen. The noise early in the morning made it difficult to sleep in.

the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. the room had lovely linen on the bed with big fluffy towels provided. breakfast was delicious and served piping hot. it felt great everything i needed was available.
the room, although lovely, got a bit noisy because of its proximity to the pub's seating area.

The inn includes a shop on site which sells food staples and local products. It's a really useful amenity. i noticed there was a beautiful garden area, it offers a view into the green surroundings.

the location offers convenient access, not far from the m6 motorway and lancaster. this pub serves as a focal point in the local community. taxis are available from Lancaster, costing around £18.

the inn's restaurant and bar were great, and the breakfast was excellent. a wide selection of locally sourced dishes is available for dinner and lunch in the bar area. the portions were generous, i especially liked fish and chips.

excellent stopover
great viewcomfortable bedprofessional staff
the room was decorated very well with a great view it overlooked fields beyond the road the bathroom had both a bath and shower the bed was very comfortable resulting in a good night's sleep the staff were very professional and polite I found it easy to check in.
the food menu felt very ordinary .

this location makes a great stop close to the main road yet providing a quiet atmosphere it worked well for traveling further north the car park was large enough.

the rooms were nicely decorated and very clean the bathroom size was huge the rooms offered little touches like a nespresso machine and bottled water which i found very convenient.
