the staff was friendly and helpful. my room was clean and spacious. the bed was very large and comfortable. the bathroom had a walk-in shower.
i had a bit of trouble finding the place initially.

The staff was super friendly. The breakfast was quite lovely. The room had a mini fridge which held complimentary milk and bottles of water, i felt very cared.
the shower fittings were a little disappointing, as water ended up on the bathroom floor.

I had a marvellous sunday roast with family. The staff was always happy to help with any questions about the food served. all roast meats were very tasty. i highly recommend it.

I found the staff helpful and attentive! breakfast was amazing, easily earning top marks! i especially liked the friendly atmosphere and super clean environment. Everything felt well maintained! the location was perfect, too. It's a lovely quiet village.
the water pressure in the shower was a little low, it was a minor inconvenience though.

the breakfast was simple but very tasty especially the mushrooms! fish friday looked very good value. the steak and ale pie had tender meat and was delicious. i enjoyed the meals.

The staff were friendly. It was acceptable.
The beautiful queen room was too warm. The radiator leaked water onto the carpet near the bathroom. the bed made so much noise that every movement was a disturbance. i found it difficult to sleep.

The room was really nice when I arrived. Tea and coffee were available with biscuits in the room. Fresh milk was already in the fridge. It was a lovely bonus. The bar was well-stocked with a good selection of hand-pulled beers.
The room felt very small for a beautiful room. The wooden bed made terrible noises at even the slightest movement. I could not move without the whole bed creaking. It disturbed my partner trying to sleep.

small bathscreendark room
The shower was a bit of a letdown ,the bathscreen was too small. Water always ended up all over the floor. I also struggled to get the water to come only from the hand-held part ,and not the ceiling shower head. The room was dark ,making it hard to read in bed.
