decent stay with some drawbacks
room temperature mildew shower
the room felt stuffy there was no fan available to circulate air this made it hard to sleep comfortably i also noticed some areas could have been cleaner especially in the bathroom the shower had some mildew and the windows looked like they needed a good wash this was a little disappointing for the price i paid

tasty food friendly staff comfortable room
The food tasted great, with many very tasty options available. The staff was helpful and friendly, always smiling and ready to assist. I appreciated the clean, tidy rooms with comfortable accommodations. The accommodation being separate from the pub was good. It helped maintain a nothing noisy.

charming stay
stone walls coffee equipment quality food pleasant visit
my husband and me returned just now from a pleasant two night visit. the inn struck me. it had much character with its beams and stone walls. our room had coffee equipment and tea. there were biscuits too. this says much about their care. breakfasts provided top-quality food.
the shower did not drain. i also noticed some mold on the blinds.

i dined at the restaurant both nights. the service felt excellent. the restaurant serves top-quality meat and vegetables. i ordered steak on one night, and fish and chips another time.
