The staff displayed competence. the house presented beautiful furnishings and decorations. the grounds were well kept. i particularly enjoyed the log fires, especially during a storm. They upgraded to smart tvs. housekeeping kept the room super clean. turndown service was a welcome touch.
the absence of a spa or pool was slightly disappointing, though i was aware of it beforehand.

I arrived excited to celebrate a birthday and was instantly greeted warmly! my room included a stand alone bath i loved. the complimentary drinks in the fridge were a nice touch too and it was a nice surprise. my husband dietary requests at dinner were accommodated well and we enjoyed the wine flight. It really did add to the experience!
The tv system needed a phd to operate. It was too complicated for me to work properly.

my stay spanned a good two nights, i found the staff immediately cute and helpful. the complimentary tea upon arrival was such a warming touch, especially given the rain we encountered. the room, a haven named bramble, boasted an immaculate and luxurious feel.
a very minor point, yet worth noting, the absence of spa facilities meant i couldn't indulge in the relaxing treatments i sometimes crave.

the website suggested walking around, but there were no real paths. i had to go out for a dog walk. it was inconvenient.
