amazing seafront stay

i found the staff fantastic across all departments, including reception, the bar, and housekeeping. the seafront location was great. the usual room facilities i expected were all there (i even had some biscuits!).
the mattress was not of high quality. it made for a less comfortable night. i feel a mattress upgrade would greatly improve the sleep quality.

The location was perfect, near the beach. I found this very convenient. Breakfast was delicious with many options. I enjoyed the presentation of the food. The team at reception were smiley and very friendly.
The hotel needs to provide an iron in every room. I had to request it. It took some time to receive it and start pressing my shirts.

I found the breakfast to be very nice. The dining room staff quickly arranged for my food to come covered on a tray, i took to my room (this was very helpful). My room was clean and spacious. Its location on the seafront was very convenient.
I encountered silverfish in my room. When i told the lady on reception, she dismissed it and said they have them a lot. It was hard to get back to sleep after seeing those crawling insects on the bathroom floor.

The classic double room I booked was small. It was also very basic. I also wasn't told there was a car park with the HOTEL.

i appreciated the convenient location it overlooks the sea and is a short distance from the town the single room i stayed in had a lovely sea view it was comfy clean quiet and cosy all the staff were helpful and friendly the breakfast offered a nice selection of juices and a tasty cooked meal. the front desk was very friendly and the restaurant staff kind i found the location on the esplanade perfect it had seating across from the beach with water views it was just a short walk to the walls and castle i had a perfect stay.

The location was acceptable. I paid extra for a sea view upgrade and I do think this aspect met expectations.
On Saturday evening, the front door was locked because of weather. I had to go to the rear car park, it was dark, and the lighting was poor. The rear door also remained locked. I pressed the buzzer three times, and no one came. I telephoned Reception and then someone let me in after I had been waiting outside alone.
