a gem in a vibrant area
convenient location onsite pub
the location was indeed convenient. I found myself easily navigating to nearby attractions. i particularly enjoyed the proximity to local establishments, especially the pub downstairs, where i tried their own gin.
The soundproofing in the corridors wasn't perfect. Noise from other guests occasionally disrupted the quiet.

i had dinner in the pub and the food tasted delicious, with reasonable prices. the drinks were also fairly priced, especially considering other options in this area. i enjoyed a local beer.

the staff were friendly and helpful , providing quick responses to my questions. they seemed quite busy with the pub's operation, but maintained excellent service. i appreciated their availability.

wood paneling smart bathroom concert location
My room had character features, like the wood paneling. I found that very neat. the bathroom was super smart and very clean! islington was convenient, as i was attending a concert in that area.
The room's walls seemed paper thin. I could hear noises from neighboring rooms

Adequate but Flawed Stay
loud noise slamming doors
The location was convenient. Near many bakeries, restaurants, and pubs.
The room was not as quiet as I hoped. I heard a lot of noise in the corridors and people slammed doors late at night. It disrupted my sleep. The sound proofing needs improvement. It detracted from my stay.

mixed feelings about my stay
thin walls loud music
The walls seemed thin. i could hear a lot of noise from other rooms and the hallway. the pub downstairs had loud music late into the night. It made it hard to sleep before midnight.

spacious room excellent facilities quiet location
The room was spacious. It offered excellent facilities. Staff helped remove a spider from the ceiling (which i appreciated). The location is quiet. The pub is very lively. Transport links are very close.
The corridors were very badly sound proofed.
