noisy guests small room
The breakfast included a wide range of options.
I could hear noisy guests both in the restaurant and between rooms. The room I had was small. This was not ideal, especially with luggage.

hot breakfast local sausages
breakfast was REALLY lovely, and well cooked! the scrambled egg and all the breakfast items were piping hot and fresh. local sausages were delicious plus there was a wide variety to choose from. the bar and restaurant was very homely!!!
the room was a little tired, i noticed another room i passed was similar in size but 'newly' decorated. it seems like they may well be going through an update process. hopefully, i'll get one of those rooms next time!

Good Stay in a Quaint Inn
attentive personnel delicious breakfast fresh ingredients ale choice
The personnel was attentive. The breakfast was delicious and offered several choices. The restaurant offered fine dining with fresh ingredients. I appreciate the ale choices available at the bar. The option to watch sports was easily accommodated. A smaller group enjoyed the Six Nations upon request.

The staff members are friendly and helpful. They efficiently served a large group simultaneously. The team accommodated a late request to watch sports. I found the service attentive throughout the stay. A great experience!

uncomfortable bed missing towel rails
The reception area felt quite worn upon arrival, a little underwhelming. My superior double room was not ideal. The tea station sat awkwardly on the bedside table, and the bed wasn't comfortable. The bathroom had the toilet right by the window with only a heavy curtain for privacy. towel rails were absent in the bathroom, such a disappointment.

menu choice good choice evening meal great meal local butcher garlic bread main course starter canceling
the menu showed many choices for the evening meal. i liked real food was cooked properly. breakfasts used the local butcher and included proper bacon.
the garlic bread i ordered never arrived. i asked about the delay and they said it would come with the main course. i canceled the starter because of this.
