fantastic teamgreat drink
The new team provides fantastic service, and the chef is awesome. Delicious food and great drinks are available. I really liked the dog-friendly policy. A tasteful refresh of the interior and exterior has occurred. The location is fine.
The road to the pub has a few narrow lanes, not ideal.

Acceptable Stay but Needed Improvement

agreeable locationceiling stainrusty radiator
The location beside the river was agreeable.
I found my allocated room showed its age. A stain was visible on the ceiling right above the bed due to a leak, and the socket near the window was loose. The radiator also showed rust, and one light lacked a bulb.

The TV was hard to use, and the toilet seat in my room was broken. The condition of the place seemed quite worn.

the staff was friendly, and the english breakfast was great.
I found a stain on the ceiling right above the bed. It seemed to be from a leak, really off-putting to see first thing every morning. the socket in the corner by the window was also falling out of the wall. I thought this was a safety hazard.
