helpful staffnatural escape
the staff members were very accommodating , they attended to our needs promptly. the forest walk provided a beautiful natural escape , it was peaceful and refreshing.
sound from the bar downstairs carried to the room late into the night , IT disturbed my sleep.

The restaurant was definitely a highlight. The room, located upstairs, was comfortable and matched the style of the hotel. The bathroom had great attention to detail, with functional and smart fixtures. The bed and bathroom sizes were generous, and the sunrise view was perfect.

I loved the location, nestled out in the countryside. It was so peaceful. the food was excellent, and i noted a lot of it listed as locally sourced. it's a big plus when you know where your food comes from. the open-plan kitchen allowed me to watch my meal being prepared, which i found quite interesting.
the noise from the bar downstairs was really disruptive. i could hear everything until late, difficult to relax in my room. i probably wouldn't stay in the main house again because of this issue.

the standard double room was equipped well and very comfortable. the bed was particularly cosy, with a high level of support. i found the amenities more than adequate for my needs.

Breakfast offered a wonderfully different selection. It was not the usual fare. the fish stew, which i had for dinner, was delicious!!! the restaurant clearly focuses on quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. i will definitely dine there again.

the location is fine, very peaceful, and perfect. the countryside provides the best walk around. this stillness is a wonderful invitation to just let go of the harried life and rest.

The recently renovated pub had gorgeously landscaped gardens. The fabulous restaurant offered a Spanish theme (I seemed like I was back in Barcelona!). The tranquil setting allowed for peaceful relaxation.

The location is amazingly tranquil, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The countryside around the hotel invited calm walks, great for letting go of a harried life. The stillness there is amazing.

Service and room quality are not quite up to par.

The setting is very quiet so it was ok.
The service was not great on arrival or during meals, I find it dissapointing. Breakfast did not impress me and was smaller than at other hotels I been at. The room I got was smaller than the hotel says it is.
