cute atmospherefriendly staffdog friendly
i loved the cute atmosphere. the staff were friendly and helpful. our dogs were welcome too. i will definitely visit again.
the bed was not very comfortable because one side was sinking.

The provided toiletries were minimal. I EXPECTED more. the soundproofing was inadequate. Noise from the pub below disturbed my sleep until late. I also noted that the parking area behind the building was not well-lit. It felt UNSAFE at night.

the room was very clean. it had its own thermostat which i appreciate because i like a cool room. tea and coffee were available, oat milk too. the bathroom was very clean with soft towels.

Excellent Stay in Dartmoor

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room itself was superbly clean. A thermostat let me control the temperature. The bathroom was very clean. Super soft towels were available. Although it is over a pub, the room was quiet at night.
The bed was not very comfortable. One side seemed to sink a bit.

The breakfast was disappointing. The eggs were hard, and i requested a soft fried egg, it arrived raw on a small plate. the music from the bar below was quite loud. the bed was also very small.

I enjoyed the large portions during dinner. The pub offered good beers and food (I really loved the food!). Breakfast was delicious and made very quickly.
The thermostat in the room was a bit tricky to adjust.
