the staff were very friendly , helpful and NICE. the food WAS delicious , it was one of the best dinners i HAD. tender meat and very tasty veg WERE cooked to perfection , it was GREAT.
i found no bowls for dog IN the room, and the coffee machine didn't work.

The room had plenty of space and lots of tea and coffee were available. Information was present in the room. We found dressing gowns and chocolate mints in the room.
Car parking was very poor. The stairs were very difficult. I did not receive an itemised receipt after payment.

The staff was friendly. The Sunday roast was excellent. The location helps for exploring mid Devon. I liked that the hotel was central.
The car parking situation was poor. The stairs were difficult. I had dietary needs and felt they were not meet. The food could have been better.
