quality food and service
christmas menu good value pudding dessert attentive staff
i had lunch and chose from the christmas menu. it offered good value at £23.95. the food included turkey and stuffing. the christmas pudding dessert tasted good. staff looked after us quickly.
the shower control seemed in need of repair. it wasn't a big issue though.

great bacon comfortable bed good shower responsive staff
the breakfast had a great bacon sandwich , the best i have had in a long time. the bed offered a comfortable sleep. the shower provided good pressure. the staff were responsive to my needs.

low temperature inadequate soundproofing
I was a little disappointed by a few things. The room temperature was quite low upon my arrival and I had to adjust it. Also I found the soundproofing to be inadequate I could hear noise from outside.

A Pleasant Stay
good food professional staff busy restaurant
The breakfast included many choices. I enjoyed the big portions. Dinner tasted good. The pool table saw some action. The staff worked very well, I observed. I thought the staff were professional. The restaurant was quite busy, it appears.
I noticed a few bugs in the room.

Acceptable experience overall
clean room great beer good food loud traffic cold arrival many bugs
i had a clean room. The food was good and they had a nice beer selection. i found the pub itself to be pretty great.
the room had lots of bugs, unfortunately. i felt cold on arrival. Loud traffic made it difficult TO sleep.
