I found the staff to be friendly. The traditional food was good and portions were generous. I loved the location for walking in the Lakes (i plan to return soon!). A good bus service runs to and from Keswick.

The location was perfect. The village felt lovely. I enjoyed an early evening walk and then sat outside with a beer (it was Rev James). Our meal was delicious, we had beef and ale pie.
The tv in my room didn't work.
