The room was perfect and warm (so important after a long day hiking!), also spacious. the staff were really friendly. They helped us a lot. the food was nicely prepared, so yummy.

I found the staff to be friendly. The traditional food was good and portions were generous. I loved the location for walking in the Lakes (i plan to return soon!). A good bus service runs to and from Keswick.

The staff were helpful.
The room felt small and was quite noisy due to the bar operating below. The television in the room did not function. I also noticed a drainage problem with the shower.

the small fridge in the room barely fit anything.

The location was perfect. The village felt lovely. I enjoyed an early evening walk and then sat outside with a beer (it was Rev James). Our meal was delicious, we had beef and ale pie.
The tv in my room didn't work.
