hot food generous provision canal view
Breakfast included various hot food choices each morning. beds were neatly made daily. Water was generously provided. the location allowed views of the canal and street.

small room street noise
The breakfast was good. The staff was helpful.
My stay had some issues. The room was smaller than expected. There was hardly any space to move around with my luggage. The noise from the street made it difficult to sleep at night. The thin windows offered little soundproofing. I expected better, particularly for the price.

convenient location beautiful grounds friendly staff
The location was convenient! a short walk took me to the pier for river transport. This offered easy access to central areas. The hotel grounds are beautiful. I found the swimming pool and basic gym quite good. The staff were friendly! and the breakfast was delicious!

historic hotel polite staff sufficient parking
the historic building, once a royal governess's home, is charming. i found the staff polite and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. the location is a bit away from the main road, and this makes it quiet at night. there is sufficient parking space also.
the breakfast selection could have been more varied.

breakfast options cleaned beds provision of water worn furniture rushed cleaning room size
the breakfast had excellent options to select how to have eggs cooked. i liked having different choices of hot food each morning. the rooms were beautifully set up for my arrival. the beds were nicely cleaned each day and generous provision of water was available.
the beautiful mattanee room was not the size advertised. the furniture was visibly worn. the cleaning routine felt rushed and careless.
