Lovely Stay with Fine Views

roomy apartment large bathroom kitchen area
The two rooms in the apartment were roomy and super clean. A large bathroom included both a shower and a bath. I loved the view overlooking Firle Beacon (it was lovely!). The TV, WiFi, and large kitchen area were great.
The bed was a little firm for my taste. Perhaps a mattress topper could resolve this.
Facilities
10/10
The apartment included games, books, and magazines. Guests can find a kettle, microwave, refrigerator, and plentiful supplies of coffee and milk, nice for simple self-catering. Everything was clean and well maintained.
Location
9/10
The location is excellent, especially for visiting Charleston House, about 3 miles away. A visit to Berwick Church is recommend. Birdsong and horses added a rustic feel to this restorative stay.
Dining
9/10
The apartment allows for self-catering with a kettle, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Guests also have plentiful supplies of coffee and milk at their disposal. A sumptuous breakfast is available (if booked in advance).

The breakfast was delicious WITH an amazing selection. The rooms were super clean and quite cosy. The hosts.
The second bed was a sofa bed. It seemed old. It was also a bit broken and small WHEN pulled out. The sofa bed is only suitable for young children.

Acceptable Stay with Some Issues

small sofa bed broken sofa bed
The location was quite good.
The room was advertised as having two beds, but one was a small sofa bed. It seemed old and somewhat broken. It was not very comfortable. I think this second bed is only appropriate for small children.

The kitchen had most of what we needed. That was acceptable. The hosts were friendly.
The weather was not favourable. I wanted to sit at the table on the decking, but I couldn't. The views over the countryside were nice though.
