The staff showed such kindness upon my arrival. My room was immaculate and it had a good breakfast basket. Everything I needed was within a short walk.
The WiFi was not working, and this was frustrating. The network disappeared, and I could not log in. It seemed like the router was too far away.

mixed feelings about my stay

powerful showerlocked gatelack of access
the shower was powerful. it was much needed after a long day.
The high gates surrounding the hotel were locked. we were not given a code for access. calling the emergency number yielded no response. Local police assisted us over the gates. these gates were locked again in the morning. i consider this a fire risk. the hotel has apologised, citing a gate that we were not informed about. this marred my stay considerably.
