I REALLY liked the super-comfy bed. It guaranteed a restful sleep. breakfasts WERE great, with plenty of options. ALL the staff members.
I FOUND that the website was to have been written some years before the present management. Words like 'luxury', 'refurbed' and 'special' are quite inappropriate for the condition of this place now. THIS was disappointing. a bit grubby, cramped bedrooms, and generally disappointing!

I had a Super King Room. The bathroom had super soft towels and was lovely. Dinner included excellent dishes and breakfast was great too.
The pub was a bit hard to find at night because there was little lighting.

Romantic Getaway on the Moors

All staff was cute from the start. Our King Room included a large bed. I loved the excellent breakfast choices. The bacon was very nice.
The plates were smaller than expected given the price of the food.

The breakfast had superb bacon, very tasty sausages, and a variety of options. In the evening, I enjoyed the atmospheric bar and some fine food. The restaurant provides good quality food and caters well for all requirements.
