helpful staff comfortable beds local produce great attention
The staff provided great attention to detail and were helpful. The room had comfortable beds and a nice shower. All food preparation used local produce and presentation was well done. Staff showed care and attention and helped make my weekend very special.

Acceptable stay, some minor issues
comfy bed tasty sausage poor atmosphere food presentation
the staff was helpful (they answered all my questions). my room had a comfy bed. the cooked breakfast included a tasty sausage.
the pub lacked atmosphere. there was nowhere to sit and relax away from the table after eating. the food looked dumped on the plate, in my opinion.

fresh fruit clean rooms
i found the food superb with a fabulous breakfast. fresh fruit and yoghurts were available! the rooms were immaculate and very clean. it was a relief.

underwhelming experience
undertrained staff lacking atmosphere
i was disappointed with the service i received . the staff seemed undertrained and unfamiliar with the menu , leading to confusion and errors with orders. also , the lack of atmosphere in the pub made it difficult to relax after finishing my meal.

dry beef excessive fat
the food was good. the staff were friendly.
our sunday lunch was disappointing. the beef seemed like it had sat for hours, it was dry with a peculiar color. the belly pork had excessive fat, the crisping was hard to cut.
