The room light switch was oddly placed outside the door. It seems like ODD diy. The shower door did not close properly, a minor inconvenience. The hot tap at the sink did not work, SO there was no hot water. I expected more from the hotel's claimed rating.

The location has free parking. The staff was polite and helpful (the manager, I think). We ordered dinner and all the meals were tasty and arrived quickly. The atmosphere was pleasant and our dog could join us in the pub.
The room was directly above the pub and it was loud when I was trying to sleep.

The staff were friendly and cute. My room had a comfortable bed and quiet surroundings. I found plenty of parking on site. This was a big plus.
The online menu did not match the menu I received. The steak I wanted was unavailable. This limited my options. The prices for some dishes felt high for what I got.
