Breakfast included homemade granola, and it was delicious.
The room lacked sufficient tea and coffee. The windows had condensation and mold spots. The bedside cabinets had sharp laminate edges.

Relaxing Stay near the Peaks
cozy atmosphere friendly staff beautiful food lovely breakfast
i found the pub to be cozy with a cute atmosphere. the staff were friendly, and their service was great. i had dinner in the restaurant, the food was beautiful (especially the filet steak!). breakfast provided a lovely range of choices.
the room was a bit small, especially with my dog.

the location provides easy access to the peaks, derwent water, bakewell, and chatsworth. the train station is a 15-minute walk, and the scenery is fine. the hotel is located in a garden, surrounded by green, picturesque hills.

the room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom met my liking very much. i found the room spacious enough and the facilities excellent. the accommodation is separate from the pub ensuring a quiet night.

every staff member was friendly and helpful (lee especially). the gentleman behind the bar put up an umbrella in the outside area as rain started. a young gentleman was so lovely and really looked after me at dinner.

My room was very nice. It was also clean. The bed in it was comfy. Breakfast had a good selection of options.
