hot roomlimited breakfast
The room I occupied became VERY hot, yet opening the windows proved difficult. noise from an outside area persisted late into the night. the breakfast also presented problems. I was restricted to selecting only one item from THE menu. Additional cups of tea required an extra charge.

Faultless Comfort and Really good Service

My partner and I found the bed very comfortable! We even missed our meal time because we slept so soundly. A staff member from Portugal still accommodated us. I regret not knowing his name. The building and grounds had quality furnishings, and I found the outside areas fantastic.

a pleasant surprise
quality furnishingsspa bathfriendly staffexcellent food
i found the bedrooms comfortable and cosy with everything i needed the spa bath was a great addition to my stay the staff were friendly and willing to help with any requests i had the food impressed me at both breakfast and dinner it was all of excellent quality.
i noticed that the carpets leading up the stairs to the rooms seemed quite dirty this detail did detract slightly from the otherwise pristine atmosphere of the hotel

the hotel offered a limited but good selection of meals and breakfast options the breakfast stood out particularly it was probably the best cooked breakfast i have ever had the food was perfectly prepared.
