the room was quiet at night. the pub food tasted good. the breakfast offered a great start to the day. i watched a kingfisher while eating, a lovely sight.
the room was not cleaned properly for a long time!

i noticed limited bath accessories were available for example soap and shampoo.

the location was scenic with a stream running just past the hotel.
The aggressively squeaky ceiling above the ground floor room was bothersome. every step from the guests above was clearly audible and loud. they woke up early. This negated our 8.30 am alarm.
