excellent breakfastpoor communicationcheck-in delay
Breakfast was excellent. It was cooked to perfection and filling (the variety of cereals was nice too).
The room was of excellent quality, complete with a tea and coffee tray. the communication regarding check-in was very poor. I had to wait a full hour to be allowed into the hotel. This unfortunately spoilt my entire experience.

andy and sheila greeted me warmly. their home is beautiful and very clean. i received excellent tips about local attractions, i saw rosalyn chapel following their advice. andy printed a train station map for me, i found it very helpful.
breakfast began at 8 am, i find it a little late.

fantastic find!
warm welcomethoughtful touchprepared breakfast
i received a warm welcome from andy and two super dogs. this really helped me feel at home right away. i left early one morning and the owners prepared a packed lunch and breakfast for me. i sure appreciated that thoughtful touch!
i had a slightly hard time finding an available electric plug near the bed.

the location is quiet and offered free parking. i found it a short taxi ride to inverkeithing train station. it was quite convenient to get around without a car.

the breakfast was super each morning and offered much to eat. i had a typical english breakfast and it was really filling. i recommend telling them in advance what you want.

my room was really warm and snug, so i was quite comfortable. the bathroom had all the cosmetics i needed. it also included both a bathtub and a shower, so that was perfect.
