The breakfast buffet offered a generous selection. The staff provided good recommendations for local spots. The hotel had a great central location. This allowed for easy access to the historic center.
The sound proofing to the room door was poor. I heard everything in the corridor. A gap existed in the door frame. I understand the hotel is old. This does contribute to its charm, though the noise was a problem.

the breakfast service disappointed me a little the eggs benedict were cold the hollandaise sauce seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. also the room service menu had limited options i hoped for more variety especially for late night cravings. i also noticed some dust in the corners of the room near the floor it made me question the thoroughness of the cleaning.

The staff was genuinely friendly. The check-in process was smooth, and I was offered drinks and snacks. The library café is beautifully decorated, and the breakfast served in restaurant Blind was excellent (i especially liked the fresh orange juice). The hotel also has a lovely garden where you can sit and enjoy the weather.
The sound proofing to the room door was not perfect. I could occasionally hear noises from the corridor, though it was a minor issue.
