meal options bar city center short walk quiet hotel spa charge bedroom area shower screen privacy lack
the hotel had very good meal options available at the bar all day. i appreciated the short walk to the city center. it remains secluded and quiet which is a plus. the location is definitely something to remember.
a charge to use the spa felt a little excessive. i had just paid a lot for a one night stay. the spa charge was not very clear. i also did not expect a shower screen that opens into the bedroom area. i also noticed the sink in that same bedroom area and lack of privacy.

fantastic location helpful staff carpark view sweet response
The hotel's location provided fantastic views. The staff proved very helpful.
I encountered a problem with the room i booked. i complained to reception, but got a sweet response. they offered an upgrade but charged extra.

tidy room mountain view central location worn room slow toilet loud air conditioning
the room was very tidy. the views of the mountains were lovely (i loved waking up to the scenery). the hotel is well-located and i walked everywhere.
our room felt 'tired' on closer inspection. the toilet took a long time to refill before i could flush it. the air conditioning was too loud to sleep with it on.

room issues and questionable value
small room excessive minibar prices
The room was small. It certainly felt smaller than advertised. the washbasin was oddly placed in the bedroom, not the bathroom. the minibar prices were excessive. honestly, this place felt more like a basic three-star than a true four-star experience.

spacious balcony saltwater pool cypress pines
The room had a spacious balcony overlooking the mountains. It was perfect. The infinity pool was filled with saltwater. I appreciated that. I also enjoyed listening to the cicadas under the cypress pines.
