mixed feelings about the stay

metro track loud noise

the location was convenient because it was near a train station.

the room was too hot, forcing me to open the window. unfortunately, a metro track runs very close to the hotel. every 25 seconds, the noise seemed like the world was ending. the staff didn't seem to care about my discomfort.

clean room sustainable effort complicated elevators disturb signs

the room was super clean, big and very comfortable (i really enjoyed it!). i also loved the effort towards sustainability. the breakfast was excellent too.

The elevators are complicated. I had to tap the card twice to get to the floor. there were no do not disturb signs available. i would expect the room to be cleaned, or at least the towels to be changed.

surprisingly pleasant stay

smooth check-in free upgrade city view

i had a smooth check-in with an informative, helpful staff. i even received a free upgrade to a beautiful corner room located on the 7th floor. the room offered wonderful city views, i found it clean, and it had all the amenities i needed. the hotel is near the u-bahn station and main sightseeing attractions.

the train passes next to the building every few minutes. it continues late into the evening and starts again around 5 am. the windows did not effectively block the sound.

Rooms

9/10

the room was spacious and clean, with a large television plus good lighting. there were completely darkening curtains, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool.

Service

9/10

the staff provided friendly support and stored our luggage safely after checkout. the reception team was efficient during check-in and check-out, handling requests quickly. i found the multilingual staff helpful and approachable. i was charmed.

Location

8/10

the hotel provides good transport links to the city center and airport via nearby bus and train stations. potsdamer platz is within reasonable walking distance, offering easy access to attractions. the area around the hotel felt quite safe.

Facilities

9/10

the hotel features cool art on the walls creating a pleasant ambience. there is also underground parking, which i found very useful. the hotel uses the same keycard for the entrance, elevators and rooms which is very convenient

Dining

10/10

the breakfast included varied options, including vegan choices, which i liked very much. the breakfast buffet was restocked frequently and provided a good start to the day. the hotel also has a restaurant on the first floor.
