Acceptable stay, some issues noticed
missing air conditioninglumpy pillows
The room lacked air conditioning. This made sleeping difficult. The bed felt quite uncomfortable too. I also found the pillows rather lumpy and flat. They need replacing.

The location was ideal, close to public transport. I found a fridge and a kettle provided in my room. The staff offered me free access to the coffee machine any time of the day (i liked that).
The pillows were not good. They felt odd. The bathroom and room could have been cleaner. I think it's hard to find this hotel to be four stars. It seems more like a three-star hotel.

the staff provided a very warm welcome with a big smile, including an early check-in. this was beneficial after my flights. the receptionist gave me the key to a big, spacious and clean room to celebrate my birthday. the location is great, just a few minutes walk to s-anhalter bahnhof.
i could hear some noise from outside my room during the night. the bed pillows were uncomfortable. the bathroom was ok but not at the level i expect from a four-star hotel.

charming surprise!
nice bannerfull bathroomsliving roomfun staff
The staff decorated the room nicely for my wife's birthday. I found a banner, flowers, champagne, and chocolates. two full bathrooms were available in the room! we also had a living room, which i found to be a lovely bonus! the staff was super fun and cheeky about the surprise. My wife loved it.
The room felt slightly older, though it was very clean. This was a minor point, but worth mentioning.

Breakfast was delicious and rich. the hotel has a steak house located on a road close by. I found it to be an excellent option for dinner! there were many enticing bars and cafes nearby, too.
