Street parking was difficult to find. Very few spaces were available. the room was small. There was nowhere to sit. the bathroom was also small.

The room was not good (I stayed in the 'Single Room Private Bathroom'). The heating did not work properly, so the room was cold the entire time. The toilet was not clean either. I saw hairs on the wash basin.

The owners were good. They provided a parking permit for my convenience (what a sweet gesture). the location suited my needs perfectly, being a short distance from the seafront and a reasonable trip to fratton park. i was greeted warmly and found the check-in process smooth. the breakfast each morning was a lovely affair. Hazel prepared a delicious spread.
