a wonderful stay
fresh breakfast ample parking excellent access beautiful garden
i found the breakfast to be really superb. it was very fresh and tasty with local ingredients. it was the best scottish breakfast i've had. there was plenty of room for parking. access to the grounds and the hotel was also excellent. the front garden was beautiful and very well-kept.
the only slight negative was that the walls seemed a bit thin, so i could hear some noise from other rooms.

thin walls overcooked items
the room was clean, but the walls felt thin. i could hear conversations from the next room quite clearly, it disrupted my sleep a bit. also, the cooked breakfast wasn't as good as i anticipated, it was a little bland and some items seemed overcooked. it's a shame, i had high hopes for a tasty scottish breakfast!

fresh ingredients secure parking
The breakfast had fresh ingredients. Parking exists off the street and feels very secure. I found this helpful. The location makes access to the town center easy, it's a short walk.
Sound proofing is not great. A loud couple kept me awake at night.

zero soundproofing tv update
the room was decent i suppose. the en-suite had a powerful shower.
there is zero sound proofing. a loud couple kept me up, so i couldn't sleep well. the tv also did some weird update at night and it woke me.
