charming hotel in a riverside location
tender steaklovely roomsmall sink
I booked directly with the hotel and secured a double room for three nights. the meal i had was the homemade pie. Its steak pieces were quite tender. my companion had the liver, a dish he very much enjoyed. The rooms were also lovely.
The room i stayed in featured a recently fitted bathroom. The sink, unfortunately, was too small for shaving. access to the uppermost rooms involves a very steep and difficult staircase. those with accessibility needs should avoid these rooms.

The breakfast menu presented options for all tastes, from a full english breakfast to toast and preserves. Unlimited tea or coffee was available. the sunday roast dinner offered fresh vegetables and tasty gravy.

all the staff members were friendly, cute, and very efficient. staff members worked hard to ensure everything ran smoothly, and nothing was too much trouble, showcasing great dedication.

the hotel oozes rustic charm with smart modern ensuite bathrooms. a riverside view enhanced the experience. cask ales and wine by the glass were readily available adding to the ambiance.

The location provided convenient access to nearby attractions. My room included adequate lighting for reading. I appreciated the restaurant on site. I enjoyed the diverse menu. Staff members were friendly and readily available to assist with requests.
The furniture was worn. The desk had visible scratches. The bathroom was quite small. It had limited counter space. I noted the absence of an elevator. Navigating the stairs with luggage proved challenging.

the breakfast was acceptable. it had what i needed to start the day.
the room i stayed in had very old furniture. the bed was uncomfortable. lumpy pillows made it hard to sleep, and i noticed the curtain rail was falling out of the wall.
