lukewarm hot food stale pastries
the breakfast really missed the mark it seemed like a budget motel offering not what i expect at this price point the hot food was lukewarm and the coffee tasted like it had been brewing since last tuesday no fresh options were available pastries tasted stale it seemed corners were cut and i noticed. the noise at night was a real issue a school formal occurred the same night the doors kept slamming and the music thudded through the walls made it impossible to sleep so I didn't enjoy it.

lovely atmosphere cute staff delicious drinks comfortable room
the venue had a lovely atmosphere. all staff members were very cute. the food and drinks were delicious (i especially liked the cocktails!). i found my room very comfortable and beautifully decorated.
i noticed a very small amount of dust on the top of the wardrobe, it was barely noticeable.

a good stay at winstanley
helpful staff essential amenities ample parking
the staff were very helpful and cute. my room had all essentials like a hairdryer, iron, and tea and coffee maker! there was also ample parking available on the grounds. i found it easy to settle in for my short break.
The table in the breakfast area was unstable. This caused my coffee to spill when it was placed down.

excessive floor noise inadequate hot water
The room assigned was right by the front door. there was excessive floor noise throughout the night making sleep impossible. i also found there was no hot water available for a morning shower and the breakfast did not seem particularly special. It certainly wasn't worth the price. overall. i found several issues that significantly detracted from the quality of my stay. i certainly expected more for the money i paid.

the breakfast was lovely WITH plenty of choices, I appreciate THAT. the house is tastefully decorated and has high ceilings, giving a wonderful airy FEEL.

i found the staff friendly and helpful. they upgraded our room. there was plenty of parking. the hotel is in a beautiful park (i even saw some deer) and the restaurant is very good.
the absence of a mini fridge in such an expensive room was a bit disappointing.

The beautiful double room featured a comfortable king-size bed, ample storage space in a large wardrobe, and blackout curtains that ensured a restful sleep. Two bedside tables were also very useful.

Reception provided prompt assistance with check-in and luggage handling. They answered questions about local attractions. the staff efficiently resolved a minor issue with the room lighting (really efficient).

The black iron restaurant provided a satisfying dining experience. A wide selection of steak options was available. breakfast offered a range of hot and cold items, including freshly baked pastries (especially the croissants).
