Excellent Amenities and Service

warm welcomegreat waterwrong price
We received a warm welcome and a room that was really good. The bathroom was large and had great water pressure, including a claw-foot bath. The large bed meant we had a great night's sleep plus the windows had shutters (a nice period touch!).
I was disappointed that the price printed on the menu was £26.95 for two courses. When we paid our bill it was £66 for our food, and they told us the price on the menu was wrong. I felt the price on the menu should have been honored, as it was their mistake.
Service

The staff was attentive and polite . The housekeeping team did a great job maintaining high standards and ensuring cleanliness throughout the hotel. I found the team members to be generally very good and smiling.
