the room was simple and functional. comfortable beds existed. it was very clean. staff members were friendly. the breakfast provided was excellent.
it was difficult to use the water heater in the shower. the temperature was often boiling hot or stone cold. it was hard to set it to a comfortable temperature.

some issues with communication and noise

communication with the hotel was difficult i sent texts to ask about arrival time. on arrival, i couldn't get in the email said to check with the wine bar. the server didn't know much and even looked alarmed, it was annoying. the bar next door was also very noisy so i got little sleep

I found the location very central. It was close to many shops and restaurants. Staff members were helpful. The breakfast at the wine bar was very cheap due to the voucher.
There was an empty packet by the side of the bed on arrival. The room seemed clean otherwise.

the room offered ample space and included all necessary amenities for a short visit. its location proved convenient for exploring nearby shops and restaurants. staff members in the adjacent wine bar assisted with check-in details and provided parking guidance. gales wine bar provided lovely live music (i found it quite enjoyable).
i noticed the upstairs was a bit creaky, and i could hear other guests.
