pretty groundspoor shower
the grounds were pretty.
The shower barely worked. The water trickled out and it was impossible to get a decent wash. this was quite annoying after a long day.

the hotel felt very cute upon arrival i noticed photographs showing its history i appreciated a room with a countryside view check-in was friendly and efficient. the owner was informative and happy to share local tips spending time in the bar with a pint next to the fireplace was enjoyable breakfast was a highlight of my stay the menu offered cooked-to-order options.
the bathroom shower was not modern however it worked perfectly

the room was big enough for me and had what i needed.
The decor was quite tired. the bathroom needs updating, especially the shower. there were water marks on the breakfast room ceiling. This was off putting.
