dinner tasted fine. the vegan options on the menu stood out, with many choices and gluten-free items clearly marked. this was a real bonus because other local options stated 'vegan on request'.

perfect locationhelpful innkeepermedieval pubstrange exitopen staircasedistracting noise
the location was perfect, right next to the village delicatessen (i always appreciate a good deli). the innkeeper was helpful and answered all our questions promptly. the building itself had a traditional medieval pub feel, something i always look for.
the emergency exit setup seemed a little strange in my room. it led down an open staircase to what sounded like the kitchen area. i could clearly hear conversations and dishes being washed, a bit distracting.
