Really good Stay, Great Location and Superb Breakfast
central locationdelicious breakfasttired area
I enjoyed the central location with convenient off-street parking. The breakfast was really good. I savored every bite (especially the perfectly cooked bacon!). The room was quite spacious and included a table with chairs for relaxation. The bedside lights were also great for reading.
I noticed some areas could use a bit of updating. Certain areas was a little tired, a refresh could elevate the guest experience.

My room was very spacious, and it was clean on arrival. I found sufficient toiletries and towels were always warmed. Breakfast by the hosts was excellent. I had no trouble parking. Spaces are large, and I viewed my car easily from my room.

convenient locationcobwebs in cornersuncomfortable pillows
the location was certainly convenient, making it easy to get around town on foot.
The room showed a lack of thorough cleaning, something i did not expect. I saw cobwebs in the corners. also, the pillows were quite uncomfortable. i didn't sleep very well due to the poor bedding.

breakfast was acceptable.
I noticed mould on the walls, and the room had a slight damp odour, which i found unacceptable. the mattress springs audibly dug into me whenever i moved during the night. the blinds did not function correctly. i consider this a significant oversight for a hotel of this supposed calibre.

I observed that the carpet was not thoroughly cleaned before my arrival. It had hair and crumbs from previous guests. upon moving the bed, i discovered more debris and hair, which i found unhygienic. the skirting boards also showed splashes of stale tea and dirt..
