friendly staff helpful staff clean room comfortable room sound proofing corridor conversation office building
the staff were friendly. They were also very helpful. The rooms were very super clean and cozy too. The breakfast is well done with lots of choices.
the rooms are not sound proof, and i could hear conversations in the corridors. i could also hear showers and toilets in neighbouring rooms. the hotel is very close to office buildings, yet i had to walk all the way round. this was via the westin and the main road to get to that area of the waterfront.

stained bedsheets filthy curtains
the complimentary boat to the waterfront was acceptable.
the service felt average. i found a brown stain on my bedsheets and had to change room. the curtains and rug were filthy and stained.

Solid Choice Close to the Waterfront
wide array fresh fruit helpful staff
The breakfast was excellent, it featured a wide array of fresh fruits and hot options. Staff members were polite and helpful, they quickly responded to requests. I found the canal boat travel to the waterfront a fun, regular alternative to the shuttle.
The walkway to the pier was closed. I needed to take a detour through some alleys to get to the waterfront at night.

The hotel is near the marina and close to the V&A Waterfront. A complimentary water taxi is available, this provides an alternative to the land route. there is no walking access directly to the waterfront.

the staff was polite and helpful. the breakfast had a good spread. the canal boat travel to the waterfront was fun and regular. i also found the shuttle bus service good, but it was not very frequent.
the rooms were not sound proof. i could hear conversations in the corridors. i also could hear showers and toilets in neighbouring rooms from inside my room. the hotel is very close to office buildings at the silo district, but there is no easy walking access.

warm welcome helpful staff convenient location water taxi
the staff provided a warm welcome throughout my stay. they were very helpful and friendly. the hotel's location was convenient for accessing the city. the complimentary water taxi offered a convenient way to reach the waterfront.
the walk to the waterfront is a bit indirect. it takes about 20 minutes.

shipping containers poor service
The harbor view was disappointing. It was mostly shipping containers. the service was also not good. my hairdryer didn't work, and it took three tries to get a replacement. the breakfast menu had egg dishes, but no one ever offered to take my order.

friendly staff ideal location free water taxi indirect walk container unloading early noise
the staff welcomed me warmly from the beginning.. they were friendly and helpful. ebraheim stood out. the hotel's location was ideal for reaching both the city and the waterfront. the free water taxi was a plus. the breakfast offered many options. i particularly enjoyed the shaksuka.
the walk to the waterfront took more than 20 minutes. this felt indirect. the bus service ended early. i needed taxis after that and gates blocked the walk after 8pm. my ocean-facing room overlooked the port.. it was noisy due to container unloading early in the morning. i heard diggers working on the railway shortly after sunrise.
