locker systemmissing footpathcold room
Check-in used a locker system. It worked well enough.
The walkway from the airport lacked a proper footpath. I ended up splashed and dirty, it was not a pleasant experience. the room felt quite cold upon arrival. it took a while for the heating to kick in. I had hoped for a warmer welcome considering the freezing evening.

the room had everything needed for my brief stay. it was a lovely room, very clean with good furnishings. i could walk to bristol airport, which took about 15 minutes with a suitcase. i would book again if i'm flying out of bristol (it's just so convenient). the automatic check-in process was smooth.
i found the lack of hot water in the evening and morning slightly inconvenient. i ended up having a cold shower. the walk to the accommodation includes a rough grass path. (i managed though)

Basic amenities, good airport access

clean roomsmooth check-inairport locationbathroom mirrorunlit drivewayunsafe walkway
The room was clean and cosy. The self check-in and check-out process was smooth. The location is near the airport..
There was no mirror in the bathroom. The driveway was unlit and I tripped in the dark. The walkway to the airport is not safe at night as there is no lighting and mostly no pavement.

Acceptable for a layover... I guess.

key dropcreaky bed frameterrible night
The key drop was straightforward. A simple process.
The wooden bed frame was unbelievably creaky. Every slight movement woke my partner. This meant a terrible night's sleep, precisely what I hoped to avoid before an early flight. Seriously, how hard is it to get a bed frame that doesn't sound like a haunted house?
