The spa is amazing. it features a lovely indoor pool and a gorgeous outdoor hot tub. the lounge area provided nice tea, cake, and cocktails by a wood stove. one day, a violinist played. It created a wonderful atmosphere. the breakfast buffet was varied. I found many delicious vegan options.
The bar area felt slightly understaffed. I sometimes looked for the staff!

The room had very nice Matterhorn views right from the balcony! The free shuttle from the train station was quick. The spa offered quiet relaxation after long walks.
During check-in, I received some conflicting information from different staff members about purchasing an adapter, a bit confusing!

The room I got appears tired, not like what the pictures showed. The bathroom looked old and had some stains. The shower didn't drain well. Water pooled at my feet. These things just.

I received a room upgrade upon arrival, which I appreciated. The room was spacious, very clean, and quiet. The breakfast offered many options and was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the variety available each morning.
The bathroom design seemed a bit dated.

The wellness area was acceptable. The sauna and steam room provided relaxation after hiking.
I was disappointed. The room smelled strongly of vomit. I am unsure if the odor came from the couch or carpet, but it was unpleasant. The bathroom seemed dated too (the design felt old). I also noticed there was no air conditioning.
