The location was indeed central. the promised "upgrade" turned out to be a downgrade. I reserved a Standard Double Room but got a Small Single Room instead. The single room was cramped, lacking space for luggage. There was no apology offered for this change. It reminded me of I was being tricked.

The room had a wonderful layout. It was large and offered great privacy. The bedroom looked out into the cemetery. This view felt serene with the trees and the birds (a peaceful experience). I loved the shared deck access with its view. It provided a restful space to enjoy fresh air.
The room lacked air conditioning. This made the room unbearably hot during the day. The provided fan was not sufficient to cool the space.

The hotel offered free coffee every morning. Croissants were also available. The breakfast suited me just fine (especially with such a charming little lounge area).

The provided coffee and tea in the lounge area were available 24/7. This was very convenient. The location allowed for easy access to the main attractions.
The church bells were quite loud early in the morning. It would have been nice to have some earplugs available.
