a romantic getaway fulfilled
warm welcome soft bed magical atmosphere
the staff gave a warm welcome, and i was immediately at ease! the room felt spacious, and the bed was soft, as if designed for dreams. i found the outdoor lighting created a magical atmosphere after dusk, setting a perfect tone for our evenings together.
i noticed some slight wear on the window mechanisms, it seemed a common issue.

The room included a coffee machine. This was a nice touch to start the mornings. the decor was gorgeous, and the comfortable bed added a great touch, it made restful sleep easy to get.

Parking was easy, but access from one direction required careful navigation. It is something to consider when planning your route. bus stop is directly opposite the hotel and goes into oxford.

well-kept area convenient parking adequately-sized room
The outdoor area was really well-kept and the lighting looked lovely in the evening. My room felt adequately sized and had a nice character. I also found the free parking quite convenient (it saved me some hassle!).
The food service was a bit strange because there was no table service outside and you had to collect your food. I think that a dedicated system would improve the dinner experience.

The hotel location is central and convenient for visiting nearby attractions. A bus stop is conveniently located opposite the hotel, with regular services into Oxford at twenty-minute intervals. The journey takes just under half an hour.

Free parking is available to all guests which is a good bonus. The hotel has a restaurant, though I did not sample it (maybe next time!). The outdoor area is well kept and is well-lit during evenings.

The room included both a kettle and a coffee machine, alongside a selection of coffee pods. The bathroom was warm and the shower was powerful. The bed was also very comfortable. the room was quiet.

the room was clean and spacious, a lovely retreat after my day. the bedding felt luxurious, so soft and inviting. i found the tea and coffee facilities in the room very convenient for my morning routine.
the access road required careful navigation when approaching from a specific direction, a little tricky initially.
