subpar experience due to smoke and language barrier

I smelled smoke repeatedly in the corridors. It seems other hotel guests were smoking in their rooms. staff was friendly but most did not speak english well. We had to use a translator. this was REALLY frustrating.

I stayed in a club premier king room. the room had two separate sinks and a rainfall shower (i thought that was a nice touch). the club lounge access was a great perk. Evan guan served a really good complimentary happy hour.
the gym had a slightly limited number of treadmills.

The breakfast had good variety. I could find something i liked each morning.
My room supposedly had city views, but it mostly faced another building. This was a bit of a letdown. the air conditioning wasn't very effective. It struggled to cool the room, especially during the day. plus, the minibar prices were quite high. A simple bottle of water cost a small fortune.
