ABSOLUTELY Fantastic Getaway!
clean roompowerful showeramazing breakfast
the room WAS great it was clean and tidy. The shower was just the right size and very powerful WHICH was amazing. The breakfast was amazing and the staff WAS so amazing. They REALLY did look after me and my dog very well. The bed was really comfy AND the room was cleaned. New bedding and fresh towels were changed when needed. I WILL book to stay there again!

the location IS ideal FOR exploring the surrounding Devon area. It IS close to the coast and also situated well for visiting some National Trust and English Heritage properties. IT WORKS!

the hotel has a fantastic garden WITH large tables and comfortable chairs. I also appreciated the 'honesty box' bar, SUCH a good idea. IT IS GREAT. The hotel HAS a selection of books to borrow.

Breakfast IS excellent. I especially recommend the scrambled egg. The food WAS good AND varied. I WAS surprised with two packed lunches for our journey home. SUCH A SURPRISE!

the room was very clean. it was a superior king room and the bed was comfortable. breakfast was good with many choices. parking on site helped me explore devon by car.

i was very grateful they ensured i had a suitable table and chair for my work. the rooms were clean and spacious, which i appreciated. the location offered perfect quiet, yet it was still a short distance from the town center, only about five minutes away.
I did run the taps in the sink and shower for some time before hot water was available. This took longer than expected!

the staff are really nice, and they made sure i was settled. the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfy. breakfast was good, with lots of things to eat.
it took a long time for the hot water to come out of the taps. the water pressure in the shower isn't strong. i did notice some noise from other guests late at night.
