lovely stay
comfortable room clean room excellent breakfast
the queen room was really comfortable. i appreciated the very clean room. the atmosphere in the pub was nice , i enjoyed the evenings. i also enjoyed a really excellent breakfast each morning.
there was no view from my window. the small window had a huge kitchen extractor fan in front of it.

the hotel is close to totnes. the location is convenient for exploring that part of devon. the train service from totnes to plymouth and exeter is frequent and reliable for travel.

i found a very nice bar on the premises , quite busy on friday and saturday. there is a big car park at the rear of the building. the hotel is situated close to a park and ride for dartmouth.

friendly owners tastefully renovated bedrooms
The owners were very friendly! the food, both at dinner and breakfast, was really good, though the presentation was simple. the interior was beautifully renovated with a great local bar and tastefully renovated bedrooms. It felt exclusive

good ingredients quiet garden
The breakfast included generous portions. The ingredients were of good quality. I found a lovely garden behind the building. It seemed perfect for reading.
The walls seemed to lack soundproofing. This was slightly annoying.
